6 September 2007 — Mr Paz’s Day
Last week Miss Rich told me her plan to have a surprise appreciation night for Mr Paz tonight. She got together with Miss Faust, Miss Dhara, and Mr Milo to put this together. Since it was Thursday, I provided the music, of course.
Mr Milo sent me some music of Mr Paz, Mr Milo, and Mr Drake playing together. I’ll ask them if it’s OK to post their earnest rendition of She’s Not There. It’s a must hear.
All week long I kept listening to music with an ear to Mr Paz’s taste. That’s why there’s so much Sia this week. On the way to work one morning, I heard The Klezmer Conservatory Band version of Bei Mir Bist Du Shein, so that’s what I played once Mr Paz was in the room. The other song that made me thing of Mr Paz — the early Mr Paz — was Del Shannon’s Handy Man.
