About the Melville Salon
Sometime after I got my first iPod about five years ago, I rediscovered music. The Internet helped a great deal. There was all this music I had heard of but never listened to. Or music that I didn’t know existed.
I started playing some of this music for friends. They wanted to know where to find some of the music I played, so I thought it would be a good idea to make my playlists available. So that’s what you’ll find here: playlists from my Thursday night listening parties.
What are my qualifications for doing this? None whatsoever. This is some of the music I like and that I like to talk about. I like to talk about other things from time to time, but we’ll stick mostly to music.
